Glimpse takes the private nature of your personal information very seriously. We’ve written this policy to help you best understand what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have as a Glimpse user.

When you use any of the Glimpse platform (collectively, the “Services”), you are consenting to the collection, transfer, manipulation and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy, as well as the terms set forth in our Terms of Use. What information do we collect?

1. Account Information – when you sign up to use Glimpse, you voluntarily give us certain information to setup your account including Name, Username and Mobile phone number which are required fields. Further information including location, profile photo, personal links and a short bio can be added at the individual user’s discretion.

When you access and use the Service, you also hereby grant us the right to automatically collect the data stored in the address book on the Device from which you are accessing and using the Service (the “Address Book Data”). We will only store the Address Book Data in hashed form (i.e. in a manner in which we cannot read the data).

We are not responsible for the practices employed by any websites or services linked to or from our Service, including the information or content contained within them. Please remember that when you navigate away from our Service to another third party website or service, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. Your account information is verified by your mobile number. To prevent unauthorized access to your account, we recommend you limit access to your mobile phone (this includes password protecting your phone, locking your SIM and restricting the number of people who can use your mobile phone).

We implement commercially suitable administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect the security of your information both online and offline. Whilst we take precautions against possible security breaches, we cannot guarantee unauthorized access, hacking, data loss or other breaches will never occur.

Our Policy on Children’s Information

Glimpse is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13. No one under the age of 13 is authorized to submit any information, including personally identifying information, to Glimpse. We are not liable for any damages that may result from a user’s misrepresentation of age. Parents or legal guardians of children under 13 cannot agree to these terms on their behalf.

If you learn that a minor has provided us with personal information without consent, please contact us and we will reasonably try to erase such information from our records as quickly as possible though we can give no assurance that we are able to do so.

Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to amend or change our Privacy Policy from time to time, using the process of modifications set forth in our Terms of Use. The most current version of our Privacy Policy will always be posted on our website. If the revision, in our sole discretion, would adversely affect you we will try to give you notice where practical. Please be aware that if you continue to use Glimpse after we post any modifications to our Privacy Policy this means that you accept the changes to our Privacy Policy.
